On top of that, over 175 companies have been created based on UGA research, creating over 1,300 jobs and 9 new startups in FY 2018.
UGA has also contributed greatly to economic impact with over $128 million from jobs created and $10.6 million in licensing revenue in FY 2018, with 3 out of 4 startups located in the great state of Georgia.
